Prayer Letter: September 2017

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

We pray that you’ve had a good month in the Lord. He’s been good to us here, and allowed us to continue forward for Him. We’ve been able to continue sending out Russian Bibles translated from the King James text. Russian-speakers from around the world have been ordering and receiving them. We’ve had orders from Ukraine, America, Iceland, South Africa, Russia, Latvia, and Kazakhstan in the last month. Some people are not native speakers, but are interested in reaching Russian people or learning the language. We’ve sent them to several book distributors, who will in turn advertise them in their areas. For us, this makes us no profit. Our desire is to provide Bibles at cost with faithful readings from the King James as opposed to the versions on the market with thousands of omissions and variations.

As the Lord allows, we plan to print some new Gospel tracts with readings from the King James translation. We will keep you posted on the progress of these printings. If the Lord leads you to give to either the printing of Gospel tracts, or the printing of the King James Russian translation, please let us know. As we send out Bibles to Russian-speakers around the world, we will include some tracts with the order. If the receivers are unsaved, they will have multiple clear presentations of the Gospel.

Lord willing, we will begin Institute classes this month with my father-in-law, Perry Demopoulos, teaching. This will be for our benefit, as well as for the sake of people throughout the former Soviet Union. We’ve had people tuning into the YouTube and website channels from around the world, and many who would like to systematically study the Bible, but are unable to travel to Ukraine or move to Kiev. We desire to make these Institute classes available through YouTube and allow testing to make them correspondence courses. Bro. Perry completed a seminar this month on the history and current state of music in the Body of Christ, which is a needful study for all saved people. We’re looking forward to beginning more classes and passing them on to others.

This month, we’re preparing for the annual harvest service at Bible Baptist Church. We plan to invite people out in this area, and have a special Thanksgiving service to thank the Lord for the food and blessings of the past year. We plan to have a dinner on the grounds, choir singing, and verses. Please pray for these upcoming events, for salvation of souls, and growth of believers in this country. Thank you for your continuing prayers for us.

Love in Christ,

David and Naomi Lohman
