Prayer Letter: June 2017
DEAR PRAYING FRIENDS AND FAMILY:
Thank you for continuing to pray for us. We are in need of your prayers and we see the results when you do. We have had a good month, and the Lord is always good. We had a good time with my sister Johanna. She was able to help us pass out a lot of tracts and assist in the other ministries here before going back to America. Thank you for your prayers about children’s Bible camp. We had over 40 kids come for the Thursday-Saturday activities, and 10 were saved. Many of them have poor home lives, so coming to the Bible school was a special event, and for some of them, the best event of their lives.
We are preparing for a week of Bible Institute classes again. As I mentioned before, we have a one-week Bible Institute and revival twice a year. Bible believers from around the country come out to the church. A friend of ours from Pensacola, Derek Stoll, was able to make it for a month to help out and be here for the camp and institute. Also, Anton, who attended church last year before moving away, was able to come back again to visit for a short time. He’s praying about the Lord’s will for his life, whether to move back to Kiev or stay where he’s at. Another young man named Daniel has just moved to Kiev close to the church, and he plans to come to church regularly. Pray for both of these young men to continue to grow in the Lord and be used of Him. I have a praise in that I was able to renew my visa for another year. Praise the Lord for the ability to stay in the country.
Thank you for praying about the Russian translation of the King James Bible. We are looking forward to receiving them and getting them out to the many people waiting for them. Thank you for your support and friendship.
Love in Christ,
David and Naomi
