Prayer Letter: May 2017

Dear Praying Friends and Family:

Thank you for praying for us through the month of May. You are a blessing to us and the people here in Ukraine. Thank you for praying for our efforts during the EuroVision. During that week, Ukraine celebrated its Memorial Day, so we passed out tracts that my father-in-law wrote called 'Day of Victory.’ We saw a man from Moldova saved this month. He was not able to read the Russian or English tracts and Bibles that we had, but he heard and believed the Gospel. Please pray for this man, Grigory, that he would come out to church. We are continuing to pray for more people to join the church and we’ve had several visitors including a saved man that’s been coming out regularly.

My sister, Johanna, was able to come over for a month to visit and help us out. She arrived safely on May 17th and will leave back for America on June 19th. It's been good to have her with us for this time. We've been able to get a lot of tracts out during our time on the street.

Thank you for praying for the progress of the King James Bible in Russian. The printing is in the process right now. Lord willing soon, Russian-speaking people all around the world will be able to have the first edition of a Bible in their own language that corresponds to the King James Bible.

This month marks a year that I (David) have been in the country. Thank you for your prayers and support for us that allow us to stay here and tell others about salvation through Jesus Christ.

David and Naomi
