Prayer Letter: July 2016

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

Thank you for continuing to support us in prayers, fellowship, and financially. We appreciate your love for us and for the Ukrainian people. Ukraine is an especially strategic area, which armies have fought over for centuries. Spiritually, it is equally strategic, as people from all the nations of the former Soviet Union and Europe have the opportunity to freely hear that Jesus Christ saves sinners from eternal hell.

We have had an exciting month of evangelism, services, and youth camp. On the street, we have gotten many tracts out and have been able to talk to quite a few people at the metro stations, train station, and main city square. The church services have gone very well at the Bible Baptist Church of Kiev, with some brothers from other parts of Ukraine visiting from time to time, in addition to the usual sound preaching here. We had a friend from Pensacola, Derek Stoll, come to visit for a month, which has been an encouragement and help.

This year’s Bible school went very well, and we had quite a few local kids as well as kids that traveled in from other parts of Ukraine. I had the opportunity to lead three boys (Roma, Igor, and Artyom) to Jesus Christ during our time. Several other children and one of their parents also accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. We are thankful for the souls saved, and for the spiritual growth of some of the next generation of Ukrainian Bible believers. Our prayer is that each year more and more young people will come to Christ and that their lives will be strengthened.

Thank you for your prayers regarding our visa and paperwork. I received the visa to stay in Ukraine, and completed other necessary registrations here to live. Thank you for your prayers for us on the practical side, as well as for the spiritual work that the Lord has for us here.

Looking forward, we are preparing for a time of revival, Bible classes, and evangelism in early August, and possible travel for evangelism later on in the month. Please remember us in prayer; for safety, the Lord’s leading, and salvation of souls. Thank you again for your encouragement, support, and love.
