March-April 2016 Prayer Letter
Dear Praying Friends and Family,
Thank you again for all your prayers, help, and support. It has been a good couple of months, and the Lord has been merciful to me. I had a good time of meetings in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. Praise the Lord for time with old friends, new friends and three new supporting churches! God has opened doors along the way for the last year to get into unplanned places and meet people that have been a blessing to me. He has also increased our monthly support, and we believe that He will be gracious and keep us on the field as He sees fit.
Lord willing, this will be the last prayer letter before I arrive in Ukraine. My departure date will be Thursday, May 12, 2016. I will be sending out prayer letters and updates more frequently as I arrive on the field and begin work. If you would like to receive additional bi-weekly updates in addition to the monthly prayer letter, let me know by e-mail. My phone will not be operational after May, but you may contact me by e-mail, Skype, or Facebook. It is our desire to effectively communicate our burden for the people of Ukraine, what the Lord is doing in the country, and current news and events.
Thank you for your prayers regarding my visa. I completed the paperwork and received the temporary visa. Upon arrival in Kiev, I will complete more forms to receive a religious visa to stay long-term. Receiving the initial temporary visa was a big step and a prayer request that the Lord answered.
Please remember me and Naomi in prayer as we begin our work for the Lord in Kiev, Ukraine. There is much to do in the time that we are given, and we desire to do what we can for the glory of God. It may not be noticeable or great, but we pray that it is done for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for being a blessing and encouragement!
Love in Christ,
David Lohman
