Prayer Letter- July-August 2015

July-August 2015

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

As always, thank you for your prayers and faithful support. It is a privilege to serve such a great God. The Lord’s goodness has been especially evident in the last few months, bringing me safely back from Ukraine, and giving continued safety on the road. The Lord blessed my time in the West; in South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Washington. I was able to assist in a summer camp outside of Bozeman, MT for three weeks between meetings, helping with senior high, middle, and elementary school kids. Several young people trusted Christ and surrendered to the Lord’s will for their lives during this time, which was a huge blessing and encouragement. Another blessing was street preaching and evangelism in Cody, Wyoming and Spokane, Washington. The world needs the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not only in Kiev, Ukraine.

I have recently posted my presentation video on YouTube, to provide easier viewing for those who want to see it. As many people are curious about what’s happening in Ukraine, it has a lot of focus on the history and current situation in Ukraine. Most important, however, is evangelism and spreading the gospel. I can do nothing in Ukraine to fix anybody’s situation, only tell them about eternal life through the death, burial, and resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ. The Lord changes lives, futures, and plans. Praise the Lord for His salvation! If you would like to view the video, I will place the URL in the side information and on the website. Ukraine is still battling social and financial problems and will continue to do so. The Ukrainian army is holding its positions in the east part of the country, and endures skirmishes and artillery strikes from the pro-Russian side. The government has been trying to curb corruption, and has instituted a new police force in Kiev and other cities. The problem is sin, and the cure is Jesus Christ.

Please be in prayer for future meetings. I will be continuing on the road to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New England in the next few months. Pray for continued safety, meetings, and the financial support needed to make it to Ukraine.
